So last night I officially began the Neighborhood Weight Loss Challenge (AKA: WLC). There were only two of us that showed up, but none the less, I'm committed. It was interesting and I'm sure it will feel less awkward as we get used to coming. We we weighed, and measured and even had our picture taken. We then talked about protein and why it's important to eat it, especially if you just want a snack. I've started a food log and decided I start a journal documenting for myself, my journey. I just don't want to gain weight because I have to pay $1 per pound. That's incentive.
Afterwards, I went running with Megan again. This time seemed easier. Maybe I wasn't pushing myself like I did before. Don't get me wrong, I was still winded, but not as bad. We also went for a shorter period of time. I went home and took an Epsom salt bath and woke up this morning still feeling stiff, but not near as bad as I have. We're running again on Saturday.
Busy weekend ahead of us. Tonight Ashlyn has her TaVaci program. Tomorrow is Kenny's final wrestling match and then I have to clean the house like crazy in preparation for my trip to Reno, and Jeanne to come and watch the kids overnight while Allen goes to Boise. Should be interesting.

Jenna and I, or I should say Jenna has been a lot more successfull then me, but we have both been watching what we are eating and it has been fun to talk and get each others ideas on snacks and so forth. It really helps when you have someone to work together on it. I need to just do better at exercising then i would do much better. Love ya!!! Keep us posted!!
