I Must Be Crazy!

OK, so I was recently talked into signing up for the Rexburg Liberty 5K Run. I must be crazy. I thought, 5K, that's like 3 miles. No big deal. I can do it. It takes place on the 4th of July before the parade. I could definitely do that because it's a long ways off. Besides, I get a free t-shirt. So last night, I began training....

This is going to be harder than I thought. I about died last night. I knew I was out of shape, but I had no idea. It's a good thing that Megan is Miss Pollyanna. I think everyone needs a personal cheerleader, because it's going to brutal. I mean seriously. I'm going from no exercise, to running. Today, I am so stiff and every time I move, I groan a little. It hurts. I'm hoping I can make it past this stage.

I don't think this is impossible. I'm going to do it, or die trying!

I'm also joining the neighborhood weight loss challenge. I'm not sure what it's really about, but I think it will be good to have a strong support base if I'm going to lose weight. I'll have more later, but the flyer states that they will help with nutrition and and I'll get a free body analysis. I want to be successful so I'll give it a try. Although, the flyer was taped to my door and I'm not sure if I should be offended, or excited.

I'll keep you posted.

I think Darcie put a flyer on everyone's door, I got one and so did Frances...I don't know who is sponsoring it though...
